“Foreignization” (taguohua, 他国化) is an important concept in the Variation Theory of Comparative Literature. Through collision, fusion and heterogeneous absorption cross-heterogeneous cultural exchanges, culture discourse principles one country are adapted through localization by receiving country, resulting what this theory calls “foreignization”.
